Marc Does Hair

My name is Marc. I earned my Wisconsin barber/cosmetology license in 2008 but funny thing—I didn’t go into hair as a profession.

I’ve always loved the hair industry. My mom went to cosmo school while I was in high school. She always cut my hair. She cut the hair of friends at school and of our neighbors. Mom had her own shop for awhile.

However, life took me in another direction and I found jobs as an office manager, an marketing director, and a English/Writing/Spanish tutor.

In 2015, I did the grad school thing and two years later, I had an MBA.

I have always loved the business aspect of the salon industry. Now, as I ponder my next fork in the road, I have returned to my love of the hair industry as a stylist.

I might as well. Everyday, I watch haircutting and hair coloring videos on YouTube and on Instagram. I am fascinated by the industry and by the people who make us look good and feel confident.
